How our communities are planned, designed and built can have a major influence on our health.

At the national and local levels, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation is working with a wide array of partners to help ensure that investments in housing, transportation, parks and open space, and other critical aspects of the built environment in communities foster equity and create healthy opportunities for everyone.
